Dead Allegiance

While 'Blades in the Combaticons' is an old idea, it's still a nice one, though honestly I think this story is hurt from being told in flashback, because there's just too much separation between the reader and the actual events. There's no emotional connection to Blades because we are being told what happened to him, rather than what is /happening/ to him. As it is, it reads like setup for a story yet to come, rather than a story about Blades in its own right.
